This nifty, little shortcut app lets you access contacts in Address Book without actually having to launch the app and search for what you want. Just assign a shortcut to activate BuddyPop. Then when you want to put it to use, just press your shortcut keys, start typing a contact’s name, and voila—BuddyPop pops open the contact info in a nice shaded palette on your deskop. Very cool!

Who gives a blooie about commercial disc-burning software when our trusty Mac OS iApps and even the humble Finder can burn CDs and DVDs?
